'Go get your scag and let's go.' -Watts. Best line in the film!!
Great flick, loved it when I was 14 when it came out and still love it watching it today on one of the movie channels. Elias Koteas is a great bonus in this film. Yes the characters all look older than teenagers, but most films (and tv!) have always been like that. Remember Luke Perry and Ian Ziering and the character Andrea in 90210.. I remember being a senior in high school and luke perry looked 30 to me. I also loved Craig Sheffer when this came out.. as I had been in love with him since Fire With Fire. SIGH... teenage angst in the 80s.. gotta love it. Good memories!!
"Hey, I didn't know Jenns lived in a henhouse. Did you know that? Must be a henhouse 'cause I don't see nothin' but chicken sh*t. Ooooo." The way he says it.
"I'd recommend you keep your eyes and your mind off my property." That defines Hardy Jenns' character in a single sentence.
"Co-ed phys ed." Gotta love John Ashton.
I love the part where the dad says, "Hi, honey," to Laura thru the classroom window; she lets out a long scream and says, "Can I go to the nurse?" lol
Keith's best line: "I do know what the hell I'm talking about. You just never listen to me! You only hear what you want! Will you listen to me, for once?"
I love Amanda's snow job on the detention teacher. A teacher would never fall for that, but who cares? It's a movie.
And what can I say about Mary Stuart Masterson? Her best lines are her silences. She says more through her eyes, her expressions and her tears than some actors could say with a 15-minute monologue.
Other bits I like:
All the detention scenes. The 1st one, where the badasses are showing their toughness, and the one dude breaks a pencil. Very funny. The 2nd, where Keith shows Duncan his drawing, and Duncan rips the top off the desk and shows Keith his. The 3rd, where it's clear the two have become friends, and are speaking as high school boys do.
The part where Shayne and Duncan's friend look and smile at each other. Very true-to-life. Rich high school girls loooove the bad boy.

Definitely my favorite. I know I sound weird, but I just thought Elias Koteas was so adorable in this movie.

lol - I loved that part! Maddie Corman was hilarious in this and I loved the one that played the dad. I also loved the part where he was calling his parents by their first names, instead of saying mom and dad. And the dad says something like "she's mom, I'm dad, and you're nuts."

That was one of my favorite parts! Right after Duncan says "These girls have been lookin at you like I don't know what" Lol, awesome 😂 Duncan was the best!
