This has it all. Stereotypes (the virginal female lead, the frustrated boyfriend, the cool kid, the fat guy, the black guy, the goth girl, the slutty girl, the nerd) - all here; party at a spooky location (abandoned funeral parlour on the edge of town, the scene of a horrific multiple murder years ago) - check; John Carpenter-style synth score - definitely; dodgy acting - and how! An hour and a half of marvellous 80's Halloween teen horror. Put your brain in neutral and just go along for the ride! 8/10
