I totally agree. This score shows how awesome John Barry was.

I always linger in my DVD menu because of it.
shareIts by far my favourite Bond score - its excellent. I love that THREE songs are utilised within the score trackers - the aHa theme song for victorious action elements towards the end, "Where Has Everybody Gone" for Necros villainy moments, and "If There Was a Man" for the romance moments. Its such a moody, atmospheric score though, and used perfectly in the film.
shareone of the tracks on the CD is missing in the final scene with kara at the concert
shareBetter than any of the Bond scores from the 1990s onwards !
This is my favorite music piece from The Living Daylights. It is a segment from "The Sniper Was a Woman". The tension and suspense is raised higher and higher with every pull of the string.

"This is a mission, not a fancy dress ball !!"
One of my favorite parts of the score is when Bond and Necros are fighting on top of the cargo net while the plane is up in the air.
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.
it has slowly become my favorite 007 theme, and yes that inlcudes Adele.
shareBest score in a Bond movie?
Moonraker (the cd is unfortunately too short)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
From Russia with Love (when everything was still fresh)
Outside John Barry's contribution:
For Your Eyes Only (Bill Conti, insanely entertaining score, thanks Bill. Its surprising he didn't become a bigger name after Rocky and this)
Live and Let Die (George Martin)
The Living Daylights is, IMHO, Barry's weaker scores. The Man with the Golden Gun and maybe A View to a Kill are weaker. But they are still good, nevertheless.
