The most heartbreaking scene

The most heartbreaking scene was the part when Bob finally gets to his mother and she is already able to hear over the radio that Ritchie's gone. The way she turns and looks at Bob and starts yelling and hysterically crying, gets me every time. On the commentary they said that Rosana De Soto did the scene in one take. What a great actress.

Donna crying is it for me.

The mother crying and Bob yelling Ritchie with the instrumental sleepwalk playing in the background

She is really great. I don't know why she didn't have a bigger career.

Imagine being the other son trying to console your mother and her saying "Why Richie, why Richie?!" Ahhh so I guess you'd prefer me die then???

For me, it was the scene where Bob learns of the death. He’s fixing his car, drinking beer, at home like normal. Then he hears the news on the radio and says, “What the shit?” You can tell how Bob stops fixing the car when he hears the location of the crash, like its gradually hitting him at that moment

I thought the same exact thing - same scene.
