Am I the only one that gets the title meaning?

Everyone laughs that the title means the shark is getting its revenge on the Brody’s. But am I the only who gets that the title is clearly about Ellen Brody getting her revenge on the shark? The entire movie is about her snapping after all ththe shark related deaths in her immediate family and going on a merciless goose chase to brutally kill this final shark. The “revenge” and the “this time it’s personal” is not being said by the shark, it’s being said by Ellen Brody. Hell, she even says “this time it’s personal” in the movie! That should be the biggest indicator of them all that it’s HER revenge.

Finally, someone who is not a total moron. The fact that Ellen utters “this time is personal” makes it blatantly obvious.

You are wrong since its a different shark in each movie. The shark in this one is the son of the original shark and he wants his revenge on the family who killed his mother. This has always been my favorite Jaws movie and by far the scariest. What would you do if a shark roared at you?

Yes, Burning. You’re the only 1 in the entire world who is smart enough to understand what the title means.

Yet you do not understand that the plural form of Brody is Brodys and not Brody’s.

I dont think anyone thought about that, in sequels they just used to add "the revenge" or "the return" to the title and be done with it

The 'Revenge' is unclear. That's why I just call it Jaws 4.
