I get that the demons of Leviathan and the Cenboites get off on torturing people and sometimes turning people into new cenobites.
But why would they even Pinhead care about who killed the men especially Kirsty's father?
They already know Frank got out yet they act dumb like who killed these men
Because anyone who could mess someone up that good like Frank did needed to be tempted to open the box and be a service to the cenobites.

shareThat's what Pinhead meant when he said "we want the man who did this". He wanted Frank. But the scene was also supposed to be misleading because Kirsty thought the skinless man actually was Frank, and that Pinhead was going to get her father for killing Frank before Pinhead could get him back.
