The film isn't without its flaws, but I find it very sincere and innocent. I love it. It's such a refreshing change from the sort of films that are being produced today.
Gentle, romantic, and completely free of cynicism and irony. It's so wonderful to enter this world for a little while.
There's no way anything so tender and touching could be made today.
This is a lovely film in the way it presents the Angel (Beart) meeting a human (Knight) and connecting. These two definitely have chemistry and that makes the story almost believable. The way the Angel looks at him...it just gives you chills. Definitely worth seeing if you like romantic films.
shareI've watched this on the back of a film that was a difficult watch. 'Date With An Angel' is the perfect antidote in such a situation. It's lovely. I look forward to watching it again.
