Pacino or De Niro?

De Niro, hands down. I found Devil's Advocate, and Pacino's performance in it, to be highly overrated.

Though I still say Walter Huston made the best Devil (in The Devil and Daniel Webster.)

Peter, is your social worker in that horse?

I don't think Pacino would have complimented his portrayal as Louis Cyphre the way DeNiro did. Let's just leave it at that.
