I haven't watched this since it came out in '87. Age and a little maturity has shown me how bad this show is. The dialogue is extremely cheesy and most of the acting is atrocious. If I recall, it gets much better. But initially, it's a mess.

It's too bad that Seasons 1 and 2, which Roddenberry had control over, had the majority of the worst episodes.

I can't dismiss a season that contained "The Big Goodbye"... Also "Datalore" is good, "Heart of Glory" is too... And "Conspiracy" started off VERY well, even if it fell apart at the end.
