Very creative and good fun

This film was a fascinating ride. Incredibly creative, and Jim Henson certainly loves his puppets.
I enjoyed it. Jennifer played her part really well.

Silly puppets are always fun to watch.

David Bowie came off as a bit creepy towards Jennifer's character.

However, it is a really well done film on all fronts.

Creepy through 2023 eyes though?

Back then I think no one really cared about that stuff.

Agreed, a truly magical film.
I‘ve never gotten creep vibes from Bowie as it relates to his interactions with 14 year-old Jennifer, I felt everything was tastefully done. The film has a dark edge to it, was meant to be a bit frightening/strange at times as well as appealing to adults as well as young children. The only thing I would change is Bowie’s banana hammock, that thing was a bit distracting at times, lol!

I sometimes like to watch older movies as a refreshing break from modern cookie-cutter comic book movies.

reply

Really? The villain was "creepy"? Why would they do that?

reply

The craftmanship is extraordinary. CGI doesn't astonish anymore.
