Ha, maybe! If he couldn't perfect the Spanish accent suitably maybe someone like Ewan McGregor / James McAvoy could bring a more authentic sound to the role...

I have nothing against the guy, he just does not have wide name recognition.Perhaps if he did Justice League and BVS would not have tanked.

Henry Cavill will star in it. Sounds somewhat interesting, but the original film was really good, so not really much point in a remake (or any sequels either as they were all bad).

Why bother with a remake. They can't duplicate Michael Kamen's score and Queen's songs anyhow. There's no Connery and Highlander was a career defining role for Christopher Lambert. It was a perfect combination of these elements and you can only mess it up.

Not sure re the score but they are literally duplicating the Queen songs by re-using them.

They're remaking everything else.

I'm waiting on the reboot/remake of the Avengers. It's been 12 years. Hollywood is slacking.
Let's cast it:

Timothy Chalamet as Tony Stark
Zendaya as black Widow
Kathryn Newton as Nikki Fury
Sam Rockwell as the Hulk
Finn Wolford as Hawkeye
Justice Smith as Thor.

Loki will be played by Bryce Dallas Howard

That right there is how remakes are made. Take a popular movie, replace it with a cast who is currently in movies, and week the race and gender to look different while actually not being different at all.
