I've held off on watching this for a while seeing as it's a sequel to The Hustler, but I havn't been able to find a copy of The Hustler anywhere. So my question is how important is it to have seen The Hustler first?

Why would Eddie start hustling again after the lesson he learned from the Hustler? it just doesn't make any sense at all.
either that or they're trying to say people just don't learn and addicts will always do what they do and they is destroy lives.
I don't know...either way, I didn't like this film as much as I liked the Hustler. if you want to watch another good movie about shooting pool and hustling, watch Pool Hall Junkies, much better than this film I think.
