Height of Sean Penn's good looks

Sean Penn looked the best in this film. I consider it the height of his best appearance. His brother, Chris, had his best point a year prior during the filming of Footloose.

Sean also looked great in Racing with the Moon (84.) Fast forward to 1990's State of Grace and he looks different. Not drastically but he was a heavy cigarette smoker and cigarettes tend to age people quicker than non-smokers.

Anyone agree with me that this film is the pinnacle of Sean Penn hotness?

He was definitely very handsome here. Kind of a proto-Jess from Gilmore Girls.

He was OK but for me, Christopher Walken was at the height of his good looks in this film.

Casualties of War was his peak thanks to the steroids giving him an actual body rather than the scrawny thing he was before.

Penn exudes very manly characteristics. That combined with his acting talent is what made him such an interesting actor to watch. The movies he made in the 80s and 90s contained some real classics.

I've always though he was hot and sexy. He still is as he ages 🥰
