No wonder the actors did not have a good time on the show
It was because of ALF he made Max and the others so crazy and no wonder why there was no goodbye when the show got canceled

Personally I would have loved to be on the show. Some of those Hollywood celebrities are so spoiled. They expect work to be fun and easy. Sometimes it's not like that. The environment can be very trying at times- just like the work environment in the real world.

Well it is natural for it to be hot because of the lights, but it's most likely due to the fact that the set was on a raised platform (with trapdoors in the floor) which brought the actors up closer to the lights. And yeah I heard that it took over 18 hours to tape one episode. One thing I don't get is how come the actor who played Mr. Ochmoneck hated it and thought ALF was a piece of *beep*, when he was never even in any scenes with him? I am sure any scene without ALF took A LOT less time to shoot.
And in a lot of the bloopers I've seen, the actors/crew don't seem miserable. Plus, Max Wright said in a recent interview that it wasn't that bad, looking back.
Like the proverbial cheese, I stand alone. Even while seated.
I was reading the trivia and how all the actors didn't like working on ALF. I bet now they would pay money to get back on. It's not like these guys were huge stars. I wish they could have appreciated what they had, being on a major television show. I could see some big name Hollywood star being upset being second bill to a puppet, but I loved ALF. So many would have traded spots and been on the show in a heartbeat. I have not seen anyone on the show do anything of consequence since, so it's not like they had huge offers and ALF was slowing them down. I realize it may not have been the most pleasant experience, and I wasn't there. But i wish they knew how much people liked ALF. It doesn't really matter I guess, but for some reason I like it when the actors like the show they are on instead of calling it crap. I'm sure they didn't complain when cashing the checks lol. But as an avid ALF fan, I was hoping they liked it as much as many of the fans did.
shareI guess that they were okay with the set-up in the beginning of the show's run.
But doing a job that turns out to be exhausting and unfulfilling for four years will hardly be a fun experience.
He did appear in the 60s episode with Alf. Both of them were hippies.
shareI read that the actors didn't like playing second fiddle to a muppet. I think they were ungrateful as I don't think any of them would have been remembered otherwise.
