Hey i love this movie one of my fav's growing up! anyway i found this movie at the video store called modern girls it was made 1986 and it was selling for $3 so i got! It was really good watching an 8o's movie i haven't seen before coz i've seen the lot! i think u guys should check it out!
p.s. does anyone know any other 8o's flicks that are under-rated
I have a movie on video called 'Welcome to 18.' Its not very good, but there are some funny moments and fantastic 80s fashion. And like GJWTHF there are a couple of famous faces: Courtney Thorne-Smith and Mariska Hargitay from Law and Order:SVU
I watched Overboard the other day, I still love that movie for some reason...
Maid to Order. I don't know why I like it; it's not as campy funny as GJWTHF, but I still enjoy it. Ally Sheedy is just so inexplicably mesmerizing to me...

Also there was a movie called Tomboy which I used to like when it was on HBO every five minutes in the 80's. ;o)
*I almost forgot Pretty Smart with Patricia Arquette! Really hard to find (except when it was on HBO every five minutes in the 80's - heh) but really funny and I loved the clothes.

I totally loved this movie too! Has anyone watched About Last Night with Demi Moore and Rob Lowe? This is one that was fun to watch and not many people talk about anymore. Pick it up if you get a chance.

All great films, love, love, love them. They just don't make them like that anymore! They've turned what once was a great genre, "teen movies", into such BAD films. Something about them keeps making me watch, I guess I'm hoping someone will make them like the old days...if only.

I'm a guy but I love these 80s nostalgia movies. Does anyone remember "Troop Beverly Hills"? I think that is an underrated comedy that is for girls, but I like it anyway.

How about Cry Baby? It's not 80's, but almost. I think it's a 1990 movie. Also: Labyrinth, Gas, Food and Lodging, Dream A Little Dream, Poison Ivy, Lisa, Mermaids, Lost Boys, The Princess Bride, Purple Rain, Say Anything, Willow, Risky Business, Troop Beverly Hills and Career Opportunties.

Also good but not girly is "The Wizard" with Fred Savage. You have to love a movie about Nintendo.
