Dose anyone under 35 get the Tab Joke.
You know since Tab Soda has disappeared.
shareI'm not much under 35 and I do remember seeing Tab once in awhile, particularly early 90's. I thought it was the most plain and unappealing-looking soda. I saw this movie before I ever saw a Tab but forgot the Tab reference. I saw the movie again years later and by then I "got the Tab" ha...haha...
shareHuh, this is new to me. I'm 21 and all this time I thought Marty was just trying to get away with not paying upfront by asking for a tab (since he was probably low on cash).
"Brother, life's a bitch...and she's back in heat."
Tab wasn't produced until the 60s, so the man didn't realize what Marty was talking about either.
shareI remember having Tab briefly in the UK in the 1990s. I used to like it.
shareThe only reason why I did was because as a child I had heard a song that mentioned several old sodas, including Tab. It was called "Pop" and a parody of "The Can-Can". However, this movie introduced me to Pepsi Free. I had only known that drink as Caffeine Free Pepsi.
shareTab is still sold here in Virginia.
sharei do its 50's dialogue 1980's are now considered a period pieces now
