The feeling and atmosphere of the following films are similar to me, how would you describe the aesthetic and atmosphere of the films listed, and can anyone add to this list? (especially but not limited to nocturnal films set in 80s manhattan)

Mike Leigh's "Naked" is very similar in tone and also in plot.

Batman Returns maybe an odd choice but the film seems to be a similar mixture of a surreal creepy atmosphere, dark humor, erotic undertones and a genuine portrayal of the lonely inhabitants of a big town.
How about "The Death of Mr. Lazarescu"? This may sound like an odd choice, but the movie also takes place in one night and takes us in a dark adventure through Romania's health-care system.

I found it quite similar to Superbad. In a way, that it mostly takes place over one night which gets worser and worser.
