Anyone else don’t consider Winston as part of Ghostbuster team 👻

1. He came in late during their success
2.He bailed on them during the jail scene

He was never part of the bond

I agree, and his participation doesn't add anything at all to the team/story.

Obviously, they forced him in for some political agenda...

wasnt that the same year they let that black guy on the screen as some kind of cop?

us whiteys are so downtrodden!
next thing you know they'll be letting women on the screen without having to take their clothes off!

Ain't that some horseshit!
Ernie is barely there, it's almost insulting how little he does. For him and for us.
He is there only to add some diversity, that is all Winston achieves in the movie. Very unfortunate, he could have had some great lines with Venkman pointing out how outlandish the other two are. Instead he is just there.

He wasn't part of the real Ghostbusters team coz he's black and everybody knows ghosts are white.

well , amongst all the replies no ones mentioned that he wasnt a "partner"

The other three where all running the business together , winston was "the help"
who believed in ghosts for a "steady paycheck"

He still shouldve been on the poster though

Absolutely not. There are 4 Ghostbusters.

They hired another employee - the movie literally tells us why he wasn't there from the start. There is an answer to that in the movie. They all knew each other from working at the college (maybe even went to school together). Once the business took off, they needed more help. There's a logical progression to the story.

He wasn't wrong. He had only been there a few weeks, had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of the storage unit, and wasn't there when the accident happened. They also own the business, he was an employee.

The TC and a lot of people are so hard on Winston. He's one of my favorite Ghostbusters and am happy he was in both the sequel cartoon and the 2nd movie.
