Something I can't understand
The title in this installment says The Final Chapter. However its far from. A whole bunch of films came afterwards, which are all plot holes. Can anyone explain the plot hole within the title of this movie?

shareWhen it was made there was every intention for it to actually be the final installment.
But you know, money talks and Paramount wanted to keep raking in that cash cow.
Just like why many bands Farewell Tours turn out to be not true.
Thanks for clarifying. I take back my plot hole comment
shareIt's still weird seeing Tommy Jarvis as a grown man one year later after supposedly being a boy!
shareNevermind my last comment about taking back that plot hole. Its a plot hole

Um--this was intended to be F13th's swan song. Unfortunately, it grossed so much in 84 that Paramount had no choice but to keep the franchise going
Like others have said, this was intended to be the last one & the death of Jason. He does “die” at the end of part 4 & he’s still dead in part 5. It’s not until part 6 that Jason is resurrected, & from then on he’s “zombi Jason”.
