Fav and Least Fav Character?

We're working through the series at the moment, and so far the only character that we really dislike is Maria. The way she speaks is horrendous, and she really has little purpose in the story. I can't wait for Mimi to take over, I can remember finding her funny when I used to catch odd episodes.

The best characters so far are the ridiculously lovely Helga (when she isn't shouting), Herr Flick, and Gruber.

Oh, and we're halfway through series 3, finding it much more fun than we'd remembered, but perhaps that's because we're following the story episode by episode instead of dipping in and out.

Edit: Mimi has now replaced Maria, and has done more in just a few episodes than Maria did in all of hers. She actually has a character, and she's very cute... regardless of all the negativity towards her.

My Favourite: Captain Hans Geering ... he was simply hilarious .. clop!!

My Least Favourite: Michelle of the Resistance, she was always taking advantage of Rene and the Cafe gang as well as stealing money from the Cafe for herself and she never got her comeuppance. All the other characters who were nicking stuff get some form of karmic punishment with the exception of Michelle. Grrrr...!!!

Least favourite: Roger Leclerc - Just a bit boring and the actor wasn't a patch on Jack Haig

Most Favourite: Pretty much everyone else as they all worked well together. Always found the scenes with Helga and Herr Flick particularly funny.

Fav: Gruber by a mile, runners-up Bertorelli (Gavin Richards), Crabtree.

Least fav: Mimi, she just annoyed me.

Favourite male character: Lt. Gruber
(the Colonel gets an honorary mention because Richard Marner was wonderful in his role, I loooooooved him as Col. von Strohm)
Favourite female character: Mme Edith
Least favourite: the British airmen
