Which pen

Hello,
can anyone tell me what kind of pen was used to write down the launch codes in the missile silo from minute 03:20? The manufacturer is written on the pen, but I can't recognize it because it's blurred.

I actually found out which pin was used in the launching silo.
It is a Blaisdell China marker 166-T foil pen.
(At least I suspect it is the 166-T model).
See here: https://brandnamepencils.com/product/china-marker-166-t-brown
(In the movie, however, the black China marker was used)

Now I went searching on eBay and found a few Blaisdell China markers, not the 166-T model but other Blaisdell models. The prices are still acceptable but shipping to Germany is around $ 20,- plus import fees. Unfortunately, that's a bit too much for a pen.

All this was a bit too much for a pencil 🙃

He really wanted to know just about the pen! It's his only two posts on the entire website.

Must be a serious pen collector.

"Founded in 1893, Blaisdell Pencil Co. was based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and had a short stint in England, too."

Doesn't sound communist to me.

No, but it was called "China marker"

Weird thing to use in the cold war era.

"The grease pencil, a wax writing tool also known as a wax pencil, china marker, or chinagraph pencil (especially in the United Kingdom), is a writing implement made of hardened colored wax and is useful for marking on hard, glossy non-porous surfaces."
