...Superman II is often quoted as being better than the original.

So how did Superman III happen??

Nothing went wrong , S3 was great .

At least I enjoyed it as a teenager in the 80s

I was 16 when it came out and enjoyed it. A couple of years ago I enjoyed watching it again with my daughter, who would’ve been about 8.

It's kinda good in parts I guess. Superman is a lowlife badboy in this one which was good & a little strange but its the best part in the series yea.

They fired Richard Donner. That's what happened.

I loved Annette O'Toole as both Lana Lang and Martha Kent but Superman III was crap

I thought what went wrong with the film was Richard Pryor being wasted as Gus, I feel most of the scenes he was in were forgettable, I also thought the villains weren't as memorable here as they were in the first two movies.
