Why Lucas Originally Intended Leia To Remember Padme

https://screenrant.com/star-wars-leia-remember-padme-original-plan/

Leia remembered her and Luke’s mother in Return of the Jedi, yet Padmé died shortly after childbirth. Why did George Lucas change this during the prequels?

reply

Probably because he hadn't decided on all the details of her death and how it correlated with Anakin's Fall. He just knew he wanted to to happen while the children were very young and unable to remember any specific details about her or her at all.

Also you have to keep in mind having a plan and making it work on a certain run time during a trilogy with 15 other characters and their arks are very different.

because lucas make up shit as he going along and all his fantard followers believe all shit he feed them.

lucas have no idea what he doing with shit prequels that is why leia say she remember her mother in rotj while her mother die in revenge of the shit right after leia born hahahahahahahahaha.

prequel get worse with time.

It definitely makes Luke & Leia's relationship with their mother very disjointed, back when there were no prequels I imagined them as perhaps 6 months to 1 year old by the time their mother passed away. Where it stands right now, Leia would have zero memory of her mother the way Revenge of the Sith was filmed.
