Ink and Incapability. hands down.
I have a plan that's so cunning you could brush your teeth with it.
For sheer number of killer lines, Private Plane in series 4. Nothing beats the Flash.
"You have killed many of my greatest... and blondest friends!"
"You'll learn to treat your plane like you'd treat a woman: get inside her 5 times a day and bring her to heaven and back!"
"Darling? Funny name for a guy isn't it? the last person I called 'darling' was pregnant 5 seconds later!"
"What's the scale?" - "One to one. But it's very lifelike: look, there's a little worm!"
and so on...
duel and duality the last episode on series three first time i saw it i almost wet myself with laughter, bells in series 2 comes a close second with lord flasheart ;)
'Of all the things Ive lost i miss my mind the most'
Series 1: Witchsmeller Pursuivant
Series 2: Head

shareSeries 1: The Archbishop - You see, the thing about heaven is that heaven is for people who like the sort of things that go on in heaven. Like, well, singing, talking to God, watering pot plants.
Series 2: Head - Right Baldrick, let's try again shall we? This is called adding. If I have two beans, and then I add two more beans, what do I have?
Series 3: Amy and Amiability - Baldrick, have you no idea what "irony" is? Yes, it's like "goldy" and "bronzy" only it's made out of iron.
Series 4: Major Star - For us, the Great War is finito, a war which would be a damn sight simpler if we just stayed in England and shot fifty thousand of our men a week.
I'm sorry the Coen brothers don't direct the porn I watch. They're hard to get ahold of, okay?
CHAINS!!!!!!!! "oh, it's a scythe!" then Beer "Cold is God's way of telling us to burn more Catholics!" CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look what your brother did to the door!
Black Adder I - "Queen of Spain's Beard"
"As my tutor, old bubble face, used to say: "make love and be merry, for tomorrow you may catch some disgusting skin disease."
Black Adder II - "Potato"
"To you it's a potato, to me it's a potato. But to Sir Walter Bloody Raleigh it's country estates, fine carriages, and as many girls as his tongue can cope with. He's making a fortune out of the things; people are smoking them, building houses out of them... They'll be eating them next."
And Queenies poem :) LMAO
Black Adder III - "Ink and Incapability".
"Once upon a time, there was a lovely little sausage called `Baldrick', and it lived happily ever after."
"I'm anispeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation."
"Prince George: Good Lord, I mean, we're *British*, aren't we?
Edmund: You're not -- you're German."
Black Adder IV: Corporal Punishment
Especailly George as a lawyer and Baldrick's escape kit:)

Blackadder II - "Chains"
Blackadder the Third - "Ink and Incapability"
Blackadder Goes Forth - "Private Plane"

I love Hugh Laurie, Stpehen Fry, and Miranda Richardson in anything, this series especially, and their showcasing in seasons 2/3 is outstanding.
Some eps worthy of note as are their guest spots in "Chains" , "Amy and Amiability", and "Duel and Duality" : further tribute to their class and skill as performers! Of course I love Rowan, Tony, and Tim, but who doesn't? Everyone on this series is a cut above, let's face it.
So...
Series 1 fave: Archbishop
Blackadder, Balders, and Percy as clergymen. How do you go wrong with that premise?
Series 2 fave: I love them all but probably Chains (Hugh Laurie!) or Head...just for Blackadder limping in one 1 leg with a sack on his head speaking gibberish. Pee-inducing hilarity.
Series 3: Tough..but Ink and Incapability or Amy and Amiability.
4: Haven't seen it it yet, DVD was broken...look I'm younger than this show is, so cut me a break !Or "I'm going to kill the lot of you" lol ..Queenie is my new role model.
Series one: My absolute favourite ep. was the Witch hunt episode because of such classic lines such as "Beelzebubbles" -Blackadder's satanic cat and the whole 'bloody milk' dialogue...lol
God's in His Heaven -
All's right with the world!
Blackadder II - Blackadder's Puritan aunt: "Cold is God's way of telling us to burn more Catholics!"

blackadder, a christmas carol is my favourite, hands down. I'm suprised it was on sale at the ABC for $10 bucks.... zing!
it's difficult to choose a favourite episode from series 2, 3, and 4. but my favourite episode of the black adder is definitely the black seal. i love it when mad gerald laughs for a whole year before answering edmund, and then it goes silent for a few seconds, then he starts laughing again. it's great watching rik mayall play someone like gerald then someone like flasheart, what a genius.
What's that? You just called me a bastard didn't you!
Season 1 - Beard/Bishop
Season 2 - Beer
Season 3 - Duel and Duality
Season 4 - Corporal Punishment
Special - Christmas Carol
Series 1: The Queen Of Spain's Beard
Series 2: Beer
Series 3: Ink And Incapability
Series 4: Private Plane
And of the specials, Blackadder's Christmas Carol wins hands down.
"I'd much rather be happy than right, any day."
The episode from, I believe, 3 where they try to rig an election in a rotten borough and there's Prime Minister called Pitt the Younger and BAldrich buys a huge turnip and they discover his name was "sodoff" hahahha
Also love the bit when he says "I have a plan so cunning you could put A tail on it and call it a weasel!"
Anyone know the name of that episode

Beer:
Great booze up, edmund! aaaeeiiiighgghghg

"And a rubber button is . . ?"
House: Climb out of your holes, people!
I'm a descendant of french aristocrats and I just love Nob & Nobility.
