A shame they had to have a diverse cast! So close to being woke free.

Firstly I would like to say I love the fact that no stinky, smelly girls were in this movie, that's one of the reasons this is way better than that movie Alien. I watched that one begrudgingly and was nearly sick to my stomach when the girl started taking her clothes off near the end. No one wants to see women prancing about in their underwear!

Anyway onto the point, I was dismayed and pertubed when the african-american gentlemen appeared on screen, I had hoped this movie would be completely woke free but sadly that wasn't the case. This movie was on the ball with casting no girls as they wouldn't be caught dead in antartica (cause they're pussies and can't stand the cold) but the director doesn't seem to realize that 'brothers' hate the cold too. No way would african-americans be chilling in antartica circa 1982 or whatever year this is meant to take place in.

Perhaps we can remake this movie, this time with no non-whites?

I saw this movie had a prequel made in 2011, word on the street is that it's better than this movie but I find that hard to believe because it has girls in it, with one of them being the fucking lead!!! I looked up the actress and goodness gracious I nearly gagged when I saw how fat her bum was. Seriously why are some girls built like that? Their bodies are so awful, fat deposits on their chest and backsides! They lack the athleticism and lean mass of the male body. Arnold Schwarzenegger is my idol, look at his physique compared to that girl they cast in that movie, the hard work and discipline involved to achieve such a body is immense and very respectable, the man can lift a car! Functional life-saving strength, such impressive feats... what can girls do? Twerk? Girls sit around eating donuts and get praised for their fat bodies in this feminist hell hole!!!

I'm sick of this woke world. Feminists are losers.

And important part of satire is being funny.....

Try it sometime.

Some people just don't get over this film.

Honestly this is only slightly exaggerated. If not for the "stinky smelly girls" who no one wants to see in their underwear & saying African American instead of "DEI hires", it would sound like typical "anti-woke" whining.

Weird how movies were naturally diverse before a bunch of witless bureaucrats decided to make it some sort of law. Now you can't have a movie with a diverse cast without right-wingers calling it "woke." That's the fault of the left. That's their own stupidity fucking everything up for everyone else.

But really, are they good at doing anything but destruction?

I think you give some of them too much credit by deflecting the blame. You'd like to think they'd have some semblance of discretion, taking matters case by case (that's not too hard to ask is it?) instead they have defaulted to complete blanket hatred of anything that isn't exclusively white and made primarily for a male audience.

They should do better than complaining about every single non-white person in hollywood and it would be nice if they could watch a movie with a woman doing something more than looking pretty without complaining that it's feminist or unrealistic.

More than half the movies released in the history of the format would be deemed 'woke' by the standards certain people use.

To be frank they're a bunch of idiots who act like a mob of lemmings and as a heterosexual white man* they embarrass me.

*Given they complain about non-white people, women and LGBT people in equal measure it's quite clear these muppets are almost entirely from our own clan.

I agree having a knee-jerk reaction to a movie simply because Clint Eastwood's not the star and director is stupid. But we know Hollywood has been on a mission to talk down to the audience for some time now, and that's what these people (and many of them are neither white nor male) are actually upset about. Nobody over the age of two needs a lecture on "tolerance," but Hollywood seems to think otherwise.

reply

lol what? So because the right got mad, it's the left's fault? Howabout NOT get offended or annoyed when you see a woman or POC character in a movie? It really has no affect on your life whatsoever.

I'll admit I get annoyed when I see those Statefarm ads with those two identical light-skinned black people, like Statefarm read some report that said this specific shade of light black is what audiences react the most positively.

reply

lol what? So because their ad has two light-skinned black people, you hate State Farm?

See, I can intentionally misinterpret what you wrote as well!

reply

Not sure what was misinterpreted. You said "Now you can't have a movie with a diverse cast without right-wingers calling it "woke." That's the fault of the left." This implies that the left should be blamed for the right being mad, instead of the right just ignoring it.

Apparently dude had no argument so he ragequit this site.

It's hard for me to take the OP seriously, when he uses "woke" for a film that was released in 1982, before "woke" was a "Thing".
