Ok, this movie is still strange but bloody brilliant. I watched it first time when i was around 10 y.o. I've seen it around 10-12 times since then, love the wall so much. Its cool to watch the movie on dvd cause you get the lyrics in the screen as well if your native language isn't english. So how many times have you watched this?

shareSame here. Just saw it tonight for the first time. I've always been familiar with the music, just never saw the film. Now I feel like I've been missing something I really should have seen a couple decades ago. Maybe it's better I waited till age 45, cause if I'd seen this at 17 I'd probably have shaved off my eyebrows or something. Bad enough what I did to my hair after Sinead O'Connor hit the scene...
shareI've lost count of how many times I've seen it. :P My little sister and I used to watch it all the time (we were slightly too young to watch it, but we couldn't care less), and both of us went through a phase of putting it on as often as we could. We never really properly stopped watching it over the years, so I hate to think how many times I must have seen it! XD

A bit same here, it's only since 6 years or so that I've been listening to any other albums from Pink Floyd, yet I've watched The wall when it was released on VHS in France, around 1983. In fact, for many years I thought that "The wall" from Pink Floyd was the OST from the movie ! Especially because inside the 33 rpm you could see many drawings from Gerald Scarfe looking like those seen in the movie. I was 12 or 13 in 1983, when I first saw it on this VHS, and it absolutely fascinated me. Almost every thursday afternoon when I was alone at home because I was freed early from school, I sneaked into my parents tapes and watched this movie. I kept that hidden because I felt there was something pornographic-like in the movie, more in the "horror" sense, especially the scene where Pink tears his skin and there are inserts of worms. I mean, I was really feeling this movie was not for my age, nonetheless I was totally in love with it. Since that first time, I must have seen it at least 25 times, no exageration ; and I've just watched once more tonight !

I first saw this movie when I was about 7. My dad and older brother rented it and it scared the s hit out of me. But now it is one of my very favorite movies.
