Is this movie as good as you remember it?

I saw this movie when I was a kid and loved it!
I want to get it only blu-ray, but I'm afraid if I buy it and watch it that I will not enjoy the movie as much as I when I was a child.

Has anyone recently watched it again after a long period of time and loved it just as much as the first time?

"I came across time for you Sarah. I love you. I always have."

Really glad to see so many people who love this movie. On my last viewing of it I actually cried a few times through the course of the film. This film is so much deeper and emotional than it may appear on the surface. To go back to the original question, my answer like many is no because it's even better now.

"Unless you're an alien, time traveler, or esper, your opinion doesn't matter."

I'd say it's even better than when I was a kid.

Let's be bad guys.

I actually liked the movie more now than I did when I was a kid. This movie was a little ahead of it's time. It should be given more attention in this post-Harry Potter literary ere.

"The end of the shoelace is called the...IT DOESN'T MATTER!"

Like many have already said, loved the movie as a kid, but it is even better now.

I sadly only watched now as an adult haha and I still enjoyed it a lot and it is surprisingly mature. I would've loved it as a child too.

I remember the book. This was a pleasant enough echo of that, on the whole, but only an echo. Unsatisfying, though pretty.

Think I'll re-read the book.

"My friends! Large sorry... you wait so fat time."

I have only seen parts of it as a child. First time complete as a grown-up. And it is great. Such a rare mystical atmosphere!

The Last Unicorn is impervious to time. It is constantly wonderful. I’ve had it in my video library for years. The cat alone is worth the price of admission.

Yes. And yes. Mea maxima Yes.
