I saw it 30 years ago on HBO when i was 4 as i watched it with my mom and dad and it what got me into horror.

I saw it on HBO and my parents recorded it on VHS, then I watched it countless times thereafter.

I was born in the mid-90s and started collecting horror around 2003-2004. I did a grand old job of getting most of the certified 'classics' on home media. This was one I didn't see until I was around 22, which was 7 or so years ago.
When I was 10, we rented the UK (pre-certificate) VHS tape (on the 'Intervision' label) from my local video shop ('Nova Video') around 1983(ish)
