i’m not sure if i saw the deleted scenes before, if i did i don’t remember, but there’s a lot of them and even though i prefer the final cut and original theatrical versions this was a treat to watch.
about two and a half hours without the overture and intermission etc.

its all deleted scenes. some scenes supposedly rearranged to go with the screenplay, one unusual cringy but understandable salma hayek snake dance scene, i thought there were gonna be some still production or storyboard pictures but there wasn’t that i noticed. the ending is kind of lame with the long car ride and talking. you’re welcome.

i appreciate all the effort people do when doing these, but there is a lot of filler in it. it was already slow.... showing 10 more scenes of driving and walking stretching 30 seconds into minutes doesn't thrill me. but I've never been a fan of deleted scenes mostly. most of the time, they are cut for a good reason - not pushing the story along. more visual bling, slower story pacing.
i understand. it will never be my go to when watching the film but it is nice for me to see more of the universe created with that film after being a fan for so long.

but I can't forgive changing "F*cker" to "Father", i don't care what the script says.
the swear word made his character WAY MORE menacing/dangerous ... for me anyway.
I always found it comically misplaced. Father makes so much more sense in every way. Fucker just seems oddly out of place.

shareApparently, version 5 is coming out in November of this year. I like Blade Runner, however I won't watch version 4. I would rather wait than watch a version that will become redundant, once the newer one is released.
