That was exactly my thought, Alex. It looks like something from the original except it's obviously not a Syd Mead rendering. I wonder if he'll be involved at all?

I wish but I fear he's not invited. Scott likes to work with his own team these days. I was already surprised that he asked Hampton Fancher to write the story.

Holy! Dennis 'Skyfall' Gassner, probably the best production designer working today, is working on Blade Runner 2049! With Deakins and Gassner, this movie is really going to look something else!
