Are there still military high school academies around?

I remember seeing this movie in a theater when this came out in the early-1980's.

But my question is...are there still military preparatory high school academies such as the one seen in this movie? There does not seem to be very many where I live (I'm in Northern California), as much as there used to.

I graduated from Carson Long Institute (CLI) now known as Carson Long Military Academy (CLMA), when the movie "Taps" was supposed to be originally filmed at. I graduated in 1981 when this movie was made.
