If they were to remake this movie, who would you all like to see play the lead roles (except the original actors, even though I think they could still pull it off better than anyone else)

As for me:

Deke DaSilva - Vin Diesel (I know I'm gonna some crap for this)
Matthew Fox - LL Cool J (I thought of a lot of different people, but I thought all in all, he would be the better choice)
Wulfgar - Clive Owen (If he can put his character in "Sin City" into a villanous character, I think it would pay off)

As for the rest, I could care less.

I like the suggestions of Eric Bana as DaSilva and Don Cheadle as Fox, but here's a Wulfgar name that hasn't been dropped...what about Christian Bale? I think Bale can definitely pull off the whole suave ruthlessness thing, be a ladies' man charmer and a cold-blooded killer.

As preface I must say that I think no actors could perform the roles better than this movie's character.
Anyway,I would suggest the following actors:

DEKE DA SILVA:Collin Farrell

FOX:Denzel Washington

WULFGAR:this is the most difficult choice,if I should choose a white actor I would suggest James Woods(he has the face of an hi-jacker),if I should propose an Arabian man I wouldn't know

SHAKKA:S.Hayek(I believe she is Indian like Persis Khambatta)

HARTMAN:Rod Steiger if he was still alive(he was a great actor),at his place I choose Donald Sutherland

IRENE:Jessica Simpson(one of the most beautiful blonde girl in the world)

What do you think about my choice?

Good suggestions, but personally, I don't want to see this film remade. What I'd like to see is a Special Edition DVD with documentaries about the film, deleted scenes and audio commentaries by Stallone, Williams and Hauer.

Of course the preface in my past message meant that the original actors were very difficult to replace because of their excellent performances.

I agree with you,I would like to see a DVD with extra and mainly censored and deleted scenes,as a fan of this movie I wish I could see this movie not remade but completely original.
