couldve been so much better
once the majority took place in the hospital it turned boring
shareI thought it was pretty good, a 7/10.
shareI think it's pretty good for a sequel
It didnt help its heroine is doped up in the hospital until roughly 20 minutes near the end.
shareI agree, I like the Halloween movies for the Halloween atmosphere and this could have been any run of the mill slasher. Plus Laurie became boring the minute the first film ended and has been ever since. This should have taken place on a different halloween with different characters and Loomis being the only one who returned. Or like others have said they should have used a different topic and characters altogether.
shareThis is still better than all the other sequels except for possibly Halloween 3
shareand 4th
shareI used to like 4 a lot but on recent rewatches, I have found the premise of Michael and Loomis surviving the explosion at the end of Halloween II to be unbelievable. Also in more recent years I have noticed the picture quality of 4 to look more like a made-for-TV movie. It wasn’t noticeable in the past when all the movies aired in standard definition on TV, but now that the movies have been remastered on bluray, 4’s lower picture quality is definitely noticeable. Still an enjoyable film but not as good as I remember. I have actually grown to like 5 more for its cinematography and its good parts (pretty much everything after Tina is killed off) being quite scary.
shareYou're joking, right?
Halloween 3 is pure garbage and it's the worst Halloween movie ever made.
Movie have no Michael Myers, movie bad.
Twat.
Wrong, you stupid twat.
The movie is bad becuase it's horrendous!
Before I watched the movie I already knew it wouldn't have Michael Myers.
You idiotic twat.
Haha, you beat me to it! I can't stand these fucking morons who still shit on Halloween III because it's not the same as Halloween II which was basically the same as Halloween...
Stupid, mindless fucking morons. The kind of people who do exactly as they're told.
I liked the setting and atmosphere. Rick Rosenthal, the director, does a decent job. I also liked seeing Jamie Lee with blonde hair just like her mother, but the more grisly nature of the killings (compared to the original) were a bit off putting.
It's the best halloween sequel and better than H20.
