I think this movie is better than Halloween 2018

I love Halloween 2 for the creepy atmosphere.

Halloween 2018 was good but didn't have the same "creep factor" as Halloween 2 in my opinion.

I enjoyed them both.

I would have to watch them both in a row to make a better comparison.I've always enjoyed 2 and liked 2018, but haven't seen either in a while.

Way better than 2018. Halloween II is one of the scariest and highest quality horror films of all time that is severely overlooked just because it is a sequel. Halloween 2018 is so pretentious in how he chooses to ignore all the sequels as if it is to say it is so good that it is the only “true” sequel to the original even though it falls flat in most areas and the new continuity it creates pales in comparison to previous storylines.

Love both movies, but I'm going with Halloween II (1981). Very hard movie to beat. Definitely one of the best sequels ever made regardless of genre.

This movie is miles above the 2018 Halloween.

I hadn't bothered seeing any of the Halloween movies outside the first 5 movies. I heard enough bad things about the 6th one (Michael just being the lackey of an evil cult ugh) that I don't want to see it. Honestly it seemed dumb to me to have Laurie Strode as an old woman for 2 movies but I am not a Hollywood producer or director. So what do I know?
