I remember seeing it on TV years ago but don't remember much of the details.

I haven't seen it for a good many years but I remember liking it (and I watch a lot of horror - especially ghost stories).

It has its moments, though I can't help thinking that it would benefit from a competent remake, even though all the old-guard actors are gone.

I vaguely remember enjoying it on HBO circa 1982 when I was around 13. Just found it again while scrounging for horror movies I haven't already seen a million times, I watched the first half hour and will finish it tonight. Like someone mentioned, it's a little slow. It's a real "They don't make 'em like this anymore" piece.
