The 1st was excellent, and the 2nd is even better. Then there is this mess of a movie. Not very good at all. From start to finish, it really had nothing of interest going on. What a way to to absolutely screw up a finale of great movies.
shareNah, even the first one wasn't that great to begin with. Excellent soundtrack trilogy by Jerry Goldsmith, though.
shareWrong. The first is extremely creepy, disturbing and haunting. The second is dumber but makes up for it with loads of cool, hideous deaths.
The third is a let down but it’s not terrible, just a bit bland and with a weird, rushed ending.
I think it was a case of deminishing returns. First was the best.
I hadn't seen this in well over twenty years and am kind of shocked at how bad it was. I had remembered it as being pretty decent but the writing is a complete mess and the end is a bit of a joke really.
