It's a strange film, the rape goes on and on and ultimatley leads to nothing. Kersey never mentions her again. But touch his daughters boobies and he's straight to the death shed for his guns!

Ironically, two years earlier, Eugene Lamont Johnson (the actor that played Punkcut) had a small part as a detective in the Jodie Foster movie Foxes (1980). He was much more subdued in his lone scene. He looked like Philip Michael Thomas (Tubbs from Miami Vice), minus the pink/blue shirts and white suits.
So, he was just acting over-the-top in DWII after all!

One And Done: This foreign born director probably reached A- list in his career. He also did many other things in media, including writing for newspapers and magazines, but is probably best known for directing. He liked to present one face in public, but when making movies, is probably in the top 5 most evil directors when it came to working with women. It has been said that he would only agree to take on a movie if there was a rape scene, preferably more than one. The rape scenes were as graphic and as violent as he could get past censors. What he couldn't get past censors was even worse. He is remembered for one franchise in particular where the rapes were generally gang rapes. The actresses who filmed them never worked again. The scenes often involved beatings and knives and the director encouraged the actors to make everything as realistic as possible. Instead of multiple takes of a scene he would try and do it all in one scene which would often last 30-45 minutes of which he would use 2 or 3 minutes. The actresses were generally cast based on their willingness to sleep with the director where he would tell them how bad they were in bed and degrading them as much as possible. In the second film in the famous franchise he yelled at the actors raping the woman for not being violent enough and personally went up to the actress and punched her in the face saying something to the effect of that is how it's done. The lead actor in all these movies never said anything. He had his own kink involving teen Asian girls so was not going to say anything about rape scenes, especially since he was not one of the rapists and really never had feelings one way or the other for most of his female co-stars including his long time wife.

In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, three women have come forward with claims director Michael Winner demanded to see their breasts.
Debbie Arnold (best known for playing April Branning on Eastenders), Cindy Marshall-Day, and another unnamed actress made the claims.
Speaking to the Sunday People, Arnold said Winner made the demands while she was auditioning for a role at his house.
"He asked me to take off my top, then my bra and told me to massage my breasts,” she told the publication.
"I asked him to repeat the question because I thought I was hearing things. I started walking away from the window and he asked me why.
"I told him I couldn't believe what he had said. I thought it was a joke so I was appalled when he repeated the question. I walked right up to him and told him, 'f*** off, you dirty old pervert’."
Marshall-Day made similar claims, saying the filmmaker — who died in 2013 — asked her to reveal her breasts in the 1980s. The third woman did as Winner asked while he smoked a cigar.
All three remained quiet about the incidents, not telling the police, but were encouraged to do so after numerous actresses made public allegations about Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein has denied all allegations against him, the mogul reportedly saying from rehab that there’s a “conspiracy” against him.
Conversely, actors including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale, Lupita Nyong’o, and Angelina Jolie have all accused Weinstein of harassment, while Rose McGowan has accused him of rape.

While I wouldn't question these allegations per se, I would question the effectiveness they'll have in tarnishing Winner's reputation. Especially as that reputation was based on being a loudmouth who directed controversial and violent movies in his prime and being a notoriously rude food critic in his later years. The idea of him being sleazy and obnoxious in real life is hardly likely to shock the public, or diminish him in their eyes, in fact its likely to be in keeping with their perception of him. It would be like someone trying to trash Gordon Ramsay for being bad tempered and swearing allot...it's what he's famous for.
Although those articles are keen to draw similarities to Weinstein, I think these journos know that as a story it's not in the same league. B-list accusers making scuzzy (but not Weinstein level scuzzy) allegations about a long dead film director who hadn't made a film since 1998, it's hardly as newsworthy as a Hollywood big shot being taken down by A-list actresses. Given the prevalence of sexual violence in Winner's films, I think most will find it surprising...maybe even a little dissapointing...that trying to talk three actresses into showing him their breasts is the worst dirt anyone appears to have on him.
I don't see the point in dragging a guy's name through the mud when he's already dead. He made sleazy movies and was probably a sleazy guy in person. What a shock.
