Words cannot express how much I hate this film. It's depressing and not entertaining at all! I throw up at the thought of sitting through it again!

ok raging bull and schindler's list are 2 movies i've held back from watching because i really despise black and white films, i dont know why directors take this route, and i dont really care why. i just finished watching raging bull, great piece of art indeed. what can you tell me about schindler's list? should i just get over the black and white and watch it asap? i actually need someone to encourage me and give me an incentive to watch black and white films as i cant even express how much i dislike them.

Its just a matter of personal preference. My eyes get tired when i watch these movies even though it could be my imagination.

I completely agree!!! Now we know the mafia propped up a ton of these stupid Italian movies. They are not really good or popular at all. It's all just fake ratings BS hollyweird homo's all scratching each other's backs.

It is spectacularly made. Yes. But, why in the Lord's Name would you want to work this hard making a movie about such a complete, Godless degenerate, woman beater? I can't begin to imagine. And, that's my problem, which obviously matches a lot of other opinions.

Separating the movie with its subject is nearly impossible. And, decades later, it is still that way.

Explain it to us, oh great purveyor of wisdom. What is there to take away from this movie? As a movie-goer. Not some pretentious film student who gives a crap about acting and technical aspects. Polishing up a turd doesn't mean shit. Where is the actual substance?
