My worst movie of all-time
Anybody else agree this is the worst film ever created?
shareI couldn't stand the songs. They made me cringe so bad I wanted to fast forward through them. Especially Olive's parts. It's like the whole cast smoked crystal meth and sang over music you could barely hear just repeating *beep* over and over again with the cameras rolling no telling when it would end.
However, I loved Robin Williams' mumbling Popeye commentary.
"I'll fight all eight of ya"
I appreciate this movie. Visually it's quite good. Many of the characters are nearly spot-on. Some of the complaints about the characters tell me those people have never seen the cartoon.
shareMaybe not the worst ever, but definitely close. I saw this when I was a kid and thought maybe that was why I didn't like it. However, after watching it again after 30 years, I was right the first time. This is a disjointed, poorly written, poorly directed and poorly acted film. It has no idea of what it wants to be. I understand why someone might have wanted to make a live action movie with cartoon mannerisms, but they shouldn't have done it this way. This is one of the worst and most painful movie experiences of me life.
shareWouldn't say the worst but its very close, it is absolutely painful to watch.
shareVampires Suck was just as bad. That's another one that could be here
shareIt has it's good points but is hurt by a weak ending. The production ran out of money towards the end and Altman used to shoot in sequence.
