Who is everyone's favorite girl from this great series and why? Mine is definitely Vicki played by Lauren-Marie Taylor in Ft13th part 2. She had that perfectly cute girl next door look with a hint of naughtiness which every red blooded male should appreciate. Also she had the best scream IMHO in the series. Not to mention she had beautiful feet with a nice closeup of them as she's changing prior to her death scene!!!! :-)

10 SUZI (TIFFANY PAULSEN)
One girl from Part VIII has to make it, and this is my choice.
9 ROBIN (ELIZABETH KAITAN)
Wonderful bed scene where we get to see a revealing peek at Elizabeth's healthy figure. One of the highlights of Part VII.
8 VIOLET (TIFFANY HELM)
Another Tiffany in the series. This one is very colorful and adds to the almost humorous appeal of the much underrated Part V.
7 MEGAN (JENNIFER COOKE)
It's actually rare that the Friday heroine is also the hottest but Megan fits the bill in Part VI.
6 NURSE MORGAN (LISA FREEMAN)
Who doesn't love a naughty nurse? Yet you rarely see Nurse Morgan mentioned. Maybe if she had unzipped her blouse all the way? Regardless, I love her brief role in Part IV.
5 SARA (BARBARA HOWARD)
Sara is one of the sweetest girls in the Friday series. I think she's great. And it makes her ax to the body all the more stunning and tragic. If Jason will do that to someone like Sara, who won't he do it to!
4 SANDRA (MARTA KOBER)
Sandra is one of the quintessential, yet often overlooked, Friday girls. Her character exudes the promiscuous, unassuming stereotype that characterizes any true Friday girl who will meet doom. In her case, being speared to Jeff in a bed. Her last reaction is priceless.
3 MARCIE (JEANNINE TAYLOR)
Marcie is the girl that lingers most for me from the original. And she was the one gutsy enough to do a partial nude scene. That slow lovemaking scene is made all the more ghastly with their friend lying dead above them. And her secluded bathroom scene is great campy suspense.
2 SAMANTHA (JUDIE ARONSON)
Sinful Samantha holds an esteemed place among Friday Girls. She is hot, likeable, unaware and not afraid to reveal herself when trouble is highest. Her death scene remains a cornerstone of the series in my eyes. Notice how Jason waits for her to undress. She is at her most vulnerable on that raft. It is then when he strikes. It is a signature moment in the series and reinforces the series underlying reputation that sex (or sexuality) equals death. Only to be topped by...
1 TINA (DEBORAH VORHEES)
Tina's unveiling of herself (and her ensuing death) is my favorite moment of this unapologetically perverse series. Again, the rules have been broken - Tina and her boyfriend have sex in the woods and so you know what must happen. Enhancing the wonderful view of Tina on her back is the creative way in which she meets her fate - crunch - a pair of branch cutters to the eyes. Sure, why not. Seems plausible. It bolsters the recklessly violent and slightly comical nature of the pivotal Part V - a great film and a legendary scene!

all this is so beautiful. well written. to me the best babe and hottest and most beautiful woman in this series is and will always be Judie Aronson. oh my gosh, she has such a free spirited, casual approach to getting completely nude and going for a swim at night or getting completely nude in front of everyone and going skinny dipping and doing other things completely casually.
all these things make her the best and hottest in this series forever. and there is something about her '80s look which also makes her the best in this always remembered as an '80s series babe and woman. it's this raw, natural, '80s look to her which makes her so beautiful and the most perfect Friday the 13th woman and babe of all time.
she kind of reminds of phoebe cates in fast times, her face looks like phoebe in that movie. it's the '80s style to her hair and face that makes her the best of all time and better than even julianna guill who technically is probably more beautiful than her, but I will always like more an '80s girl than a not '80s girl.
why don't more people give love to part 5? how come most people think it is a bad movie? it's one of the best in this series.
i love that you love part 5 and respect it greatly. it's an awesome film i've never understood why it's always been disrespected over the years. i'd watch it over most other friday the 13th films. it feels so exotic. you know what i mean? it's sweet and touching with the reggie character and the tommy jarvis character and the fun friendly times of the social outcasts and unpopular kids characters. it's also like friday the 13th on speed. it's extremely fun, fast paced and it has the best of every hallmark friday the 13th thing.
shareI've warmed up a little to Part 5 since first seeing it, but it just doesn't have the same feel as the earlier films to me. It feels really sleazy, and it sort of made sense when I learned that the director Danny Steinmann had a background in adult' films..!

shareI think at it's core it's not really different from the earlier films, but it's more in the execution. The kill-count is higher (which I'm sure is a plus for many people), but it means the build-up and suspense to each kill is lessened. I think this is what I felt was lacking in this compared to the previous ones.
I'm not big on the sleaze factor (the gratuitous nude scenes don't do it for me!), but I respect it's part & parcel of the genre. So in answer to your question, I think it was the change in pace and (in my opinion) loss of suspense. Again, I know this works for a lot of people, which is fine!

As far as final girls i'd go with the majority , GINNY ( Amy Steel) she had a little bit of everything , looks , smarts , vulnerability , and a bit more depth than some of the other final girls . Tina , Chris , Pam, and Alice were all good too though.
as far as the victims go , Terri ( Part 2 ) , Samantha ( Part 4 ) , Vera( Part 3) , Violet ( Part 5) , Robin & Melissa ( Part 7) , Tamara (Part 8), Agent Marcus ( Part 9- it was cool she was the only non final girl to survive an attack ) , and Jenna ( Remake) were all really memorable as well .
Don't know what you mean by best. For me, the best 2 were Alice and Ginny. Maybe they are not the best looking. But they were bright and resourceful. That's what saved them. Not their breasts.

shareHands down Chris from Part 3 that was also the best entry into the franchise.
Chris was awesome and really battled Jason well. Ginny was cool but she got help from the boyfriend, Chris was really taking Jason to task like nobody has ever had.
Trish Jarvis; gorgeous and really gave Jason a run for his money at the climax.
