Who is everyone's favorite girl from this great series and why? Mine is definitely Vicki played by Lauren-Marie Taylor in Ft13th part 2. She had that perfectly cute girl next door look with a hint of naughtiness which every red blooded male should appreciate. Also she had the best scream IMHO in the series. Not to mention she had beautiful feet with a nice closeup of them as she's changing prior to her death scene!!!! :-)
Haha vicky did but that's ok they were still nice! lol. Good observation! Also my second fave girl looks-wise was Violet from part 5. Loved the bad girl punk look and the dance--she moved very nice!
Ha ha! I love your reasoning behind why you like Vicki. I agree, she was one of the best girls in the whole series.
I feel that, for the most part, all of the best female characters and performances in the FT13 franchise are from the first four films, then as the series went on, the female (and male) characters got weaker, more annoying, and less realistic (although most of the final girls were portrayed well enough--some much better than others). I also happen to LOVE Melissa from New Blood (RIP Susan Jennifer Sullivan) and Tamara from Jason Takes Manhattan . . . two over-acted but fun super-bitch performances in two of my least favorite films in the franchise.
I would say my favorite girl in the series is a tie between Alice and Ginny. I can't choose.
I wish that were the case, but it's not. Susan Jennifer Sullivan is deceased. There are some people who believe the woman in the obituary is not the actress from The New Blood, but it has indeed been confirmed.
I really hope this is her. I would be very happy to be wrong about her passing! As I'm sure the makers of the Crystal Lake doc would, as well. Beautiful woman, great performance in The New Blood.
Megan was a lot of fun. She's one of the better final girls from the later movies. Reminds me of Ginny from Part II. I like Sissy a lot, too. A chase scene with her would've been great.
I love Jason Lives. It's a polarizing film, and I'm on the positive end of the spectrum. It's very different from its predecessors, but in a good way. I like that they used the Universal homage/Frankenstein approach, a complete tonal departure from the blueprint of the first five films. For me, it's a lot of fun and very re-watchable.
exactly, part 6 rules. what do you mean polarizing? i've never noticed a lot of people not liking it. where did you read about it being polarizing? i've always read people saying it's one of the best films. what do you mean by universal homage/frankenstein approach?
i love the beginning part with the 007 intro. and if you think about it this series is the horror version of the james bond series because they've made more of these films than almost any other film series. that might have been how they thought of the idea.
