This movie was not funny to me and was overrrated. I think lots of other movies were funnier and I cannot understand why this one is viewed as such a classic. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

My opinion is that it is really funny and maybe even UNDERrated.
shareI highly disagree I find it hilarious but to each their own. There was one movie everybody found hilarious it was a spoof on teen horror movies not Scary Movie but very similar anyways everybody I knew loved it & laughed their asses of when seeing it. I went to see it with a friend & while he howled with laughter (along with the rest of the audience)I may of chuckled once or twice but mostly was very disappointed & just wanted it to end. The funny thing is I usually love movies like that.

Because I think you may have the same problem with what people say about ROCKY.
Because of ANIMAL HOUSE that's what started all those teen comedies in the 80s'.
