He didnt. They were two different sharks with different equity cards.

I believe the shark is the same as in part 1, and part 2. The shark ended up surviving at the end of the previous movie and was even more aggressive this time around. The shark ate an entire helicopter. Jaws 3 was set in another universe, however in Jaws 4, it was the son of the original shark that sought revenge on Mrs Brody

That's a solid career. Some people tend to think if an actor spent their career doing smaller rolls they aren't that successful, seems like. It's hard to make it as an actor, though. If they are working steadily and making a living at it, I'd say they are a success.

Scheider was already having a pretty solid career when he did it, though it did fade a bit once the 70s passed.

He's great in All That Jazz.
