What is the scariest way to die in the movie for you? I think falling through the ice is the scariest way to die in the movie for me.

That would probably be my pick as well, though being caught on one end of a train racing towards another car, thus knowing what is coming? That would be pretty awful too.
shareI think the beginning scene with Bugenhagen and the other archaeologist being trapped in the rocks was pretty scary. They could tell there wasn't going to be an escape and that they were both going to die, so all they could do was wait for it to happen. They did try to get out, but I think deep down, they both knew it wasn't happening. It was scary.

Really any death you see coming such as drowning, crushed by a train, buried alive that you know is inescapable is terryifying. Aunt Marion died the easiest way with the heart attack.

And Joan's death was pretty bad too. I forgot about it. Having her eyes pecked out by crows and then being ran over by a truck afterwards. That does not sound very pleasant.

It's either a tie between falling under ice or being cut in half in an elevator. I used to have fear of elevators, so of course that scene would have been scary for me. But falling under ice, and then swimming underneath it seems too terrifying for me. Drowning is said to be the most miserable and frightening experience, and combined with the freezing cold, it's definitely not pleasant. Like another poster said, though, being strung to a train while racing to a full on collision toward another one isn't exactly nice either.
shareMan, they were all horrible: buried alive, drowned under ice (reminds me of the pool scene in The Legacy), cut in half. When Joan was hit by the truck she was thrown against the cab, dropped under it and run over by like 10 of the 16 wheels.

Falling under the ice for me. The fact that he can see people trying to help him through the ice to some degree must be horrific for the poor guy.
The scene really freaked me out as a kid and still disturbs me to this day, that's coming from a horror fan that loves the genre but is rarely actually scared by the films. Many years ago I moved to Scandinavia and despite what the locals tell me about it being safe...I still won't mess around on an iced lake. The directors did a job with that scene to have that affect on me.
Erm...the current that dragged the guy along was quite fast, I think that would mean that the lake wouldn't freeze over. I need to ask the locals and hopefully rid myself of this fear! :)

I try to NOT think about dying too much... But obiviously something long and painful I assume quick ones are best
A lot of people have near death expiereances tho so... And some people are pronounced clinically dead for a few mins or hours
Only to be resuscitated so... It's really how much pain and misery a person had in life (physical emotional physcological etc)

Trapped in ice, buried in the beginning, and the crow attack scene. I love how mean spirited and nasty this film is, makes you terrified of dying.
