Time to cast votes: Goblin soundtrack - great or terrible?

I loved it. I recently find out that a lot of people hate it with passion. What say ye? Yey or ney.

I loved it, it reminded me very much of Siouxsie and the Banshees.

The soundtrack petrified me when I first heard. Music probably has a bigger impact on me during a movie more than a number of other aspects. NOw that the movie freaks me out less, I enjoy it. The soundtrack and movie itself are still pretty creepy, but it doesn't get under my skin quite as much as it used to.

It is hard for me now to separate the score from the film as the score is so much a part of the experience. So, I would have to call the score great.

If the intention of the soundtrack was to add to the eerie atmosphere of the film it failed (for me). I found it mostly annoying...

I'm not a big fan of Goblins, generally, but I found this soundtrack to be pretty effective. I personally thought the Argento/Morricone pairing of his first couple of films was very good and I would have preferred to see them do more films together as opposed to the Goblins. As I said, though, this is The Goblins' finest hour, by far.

I loved it.

It to me fit very well with the atmosphere of the movie and actually enhanced it.

It did everything a great soundtrack should imo.

Great music, bad soundtrack.

And I don't know if it was just the version I saw was poorly mastered, but the sound mixing was dreadful. When the music kicked in I had to drop the volume by half.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.
