The Hardesty house, surely. Not the Franklin house

At the gas station Franklin asks the cook if he knows the 'Franklin house', and goes on to say that his father owned it. The cook also refers to it as the 'Franklin house'. But the family name is Hardesty, not Franklin. Franklin is... well, Franklin's name. Why would the house be referred to the 'Franklin house'?

I know, right? That's a funny line, but since Franklin is so iconic it's fine.

True! Franklin cracks me up!

Franklin is probably a Jr. My Uncle John is the John XII and his son my cousin is John XIII. My cousin had 4 daughters so sadly no John XIV is likely. I myself am William Jr. and if I have a son he'll be William III.
