Hi, i just bought the DVD of Holy Mountain and i was wondering if i can get my 13 year old boy to watch with me?

I am also trying to force a young child to watch this movie with me. I tried luring him with candy and putting the dvd in a blue's clues case but neither have worked. Any tips?

I'd say definately not, there are sex scenes and nudity throughout the film. and some acts which i felt were just taking things to far.

Damn! People complaining about Holy Mountain having disturbing stuff in it?!

It just depends on the kid. It's a cool movie, but it's hard to appreciate. I was left scratching my head until I watched it enough times to realize that scratching your head is where it takes you.

Watching this movie is like an exercise for the brain. In that way, it's kind of like a chaotic, haphazard version of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Does ur kid like that flick? Maybe this one'd be good.

PS: R U A Troll? I won't tell.

PPS: watch Zeitgeist the movie even though it ain't gospel. It makes this movie make a little more sense IMO.

I would say it's a bit too deep for early teens. Maybe 16-17 year olds. It is disturbing in a way horror movies aren't.
