Was it when Fonzie rode the bull? Or maybe when Fonzie went blind?

As early as season 2. Season 1 the show has a darkness to it, the guys talking about getting laid, or whatever word they use, the Fonz is more like a hood. Season 2 it becomes all cleaned up and family friendly.
