When did you first get to see it?

Do you like Michael Ball or whoever?

I first saw a stripped down production of the show not too long after the album came out. It was staged at the Wildwood Convention Hall in Wildwood, NJ. I say stripped down because there were no props; the actors just came out and sang their songs. I am pretty sure that everyone that was on the album was in this production. I remember Carl, Yvonne and Barry but I don't remember who played Jesus. I have seen this show done by a traveling group that did it every Easter at a local theater. I have seen the movie but the version that I saw in Wildwood is the one that I will always remember.
The music is stillas powerful as evident when they showed the revival cast on the Tonys recently.

I saw Jesus Christ Superstar back in 73? at the theater-loved it then and still do. I remember hearing the song Hosanna on the radio back then too.

I saw it at age seven on TV. I was too young to understand the theology, but I sensed that Judas was a very troubled character, and I was upset when he hanged himself--and then relieved when he came back as a disco angel of sorts.

I've only seen the movie, long time ago, didn't like it at all (tried again, recently, still don't like it) but LOVE the music, it's the only thing I play in my car during Lent, never gets old.

I saw the original stage version in Melbourne way back in the early '70s with the likes of Jon English (Judas) & Marcia Hines (Mary Magdalene) in it, both of whom went onto long, successful recording careers.

I saw the film, which I love, a few years ago at a friend's place. He had a dvd projector & movie screen, so it was a decent size. It's such a powerful piece & this is an amazing presentation!

I grew up in the 70's, listening to JCS, and Hair, and the Sound of Music, when my mother would put the record player on and dance around the house - house-working - while she sang. Music was her weekend ritual. She still has a beautiful voice today.

She took me to a live stage production in Wellington when I was 8. It blew my mind.

I finally saw the movie around about '81.

To this day I remain enthralled by the leads, their voices, the music, the lyrics, the art direction, the dancing, the costumes...
