this is one of the funniest movies i have ever seen, with mountains of quotable lines (my favorite being "i was no where near oakland") this is a great, great movie

Kind of pointless to reply, since you posted this 6 years ago. But what the hey?

The title of this post says funniest movie ever, but then in your post you say it's one of the funniest movies ever. For me, this is the comedy that has made me laugh the most than any other comedy. So I'll have to say it's the funniest movie ever! Hands down!

No one has mentioned the "Your tattoos are rubbing off on my neck" quip while being choked by the biker? Wow. That line makes me bust out laughing every time!

And my other fave line is Alan’s response to Bogie; "Yeah, but your glasses don’t go flying across the room".

Classic stuff.

It´s a fantastic movie. Brilliant and really funny. It just made my day.

The part with the record and the chair knocking over stuff in the living room is hysterical. Also the rice demonstration.

The "I'd better go into my fake limp" line when the toughs follow him and his date out of the bar is hilarious.

agree with you, i have never laugh so hard in my entire life, this awkward woody character always gets me, a bit underrated and i don't understand how on earth is this under 8.0 along with love and death this is the best Woody Allen film

This one's as funny as a Family Guy episode. Take it as you will.

This is my absolute favourite Woody Allen movie! Oh how I love it :-) Then comes Midnight in Paris, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Annie Hall and Zelic. Woody is has his very own film genre.
